Ethereum is the second-largest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin — but it's much more than just digital money. The next big focus is scalability, meaning the network needs to handle more users and more transactions without slowing down or costing too much in fees. Tools like rollups (Layer 2 networks that bundle transactions) and sharding (splitting the network into smaller parts) are part of this vision.
